Centuria-RIT - Romagna Innovazione Tecnologia is a Consortium composed by over 70 Associates, including enterprises, Public Administrations, Trade Associations, Chamber of Commerce and Banks.

Centuria-RIT is the Romagna Science and Technology Park, recognized as “Innovation Centre” by the Region Emilia-Romgna Centuria-RIT aims at promoting the Associates’ development and the growth of the whole area of Romagna through technological and organizing innovation, in particular in agrofood and manufacturing sectors.

Centuria-RIT’s successful key is the permanent search for “SOFT solution”, that is to say an approach fostering immaterial services, flexibility and proximity to the specific needs of business and entrepreneurial world.

:: The History ::

Centuria-RIT is finally born in 2003 from the fusion between two similar Consortia: “Centuria” working in Cesena area since 1994 and “RIT Romagna Innovazione Tecnologia” created in Faenza Area in 2001.

Centuria was born as consortium of enterprises working in agrofood sector (fruit and vegetable production, poultry, sugar, frozen food, seeds and technologies connected, like packaging machines, sorting equipment, irrigation devices, agricultural machinery, logistic equipment, softwares, etc.).

Rit was created in Faenza in 2001 by a group of entrepreneurs of the manufacturing sector (mechanics, electronics, automation, instrumental goods, etc).

After 2 years of close cooperation, characterized by the organization of shared events and exchange of staff, Centuria and RIT began the fusion process which ended in april 2003 with the constitution of a single structure named Centuria-RIT Romagna Innovazione Tecnologia Soc. Cons. a r.l.
